Walkies! Big dogs and tiny join Bangkok fun run


BANGKOK From little chihuahuas to 60 kg (130 lb) mastiffs, hundreds of dogs and their owners jogged by a Bangkok park on Sunday to lift income for charity.

Nobody was racing opposite a time during a “Maa-Rathon” – maa is Thai for dog – and there was no esteem for a fastest dog and owners around a 1.7 km (1.1 mile) course.

Entrants paid $30 per dog to lift supports for a new building during a Siriraj Hospital.
