Street artists move tone to Israeli and Jordanian streets


ARAD, Israel With vast murals of black cats and colorful gurning faces, a organisation of roving general artists are bringing a dash of colorful travel art to towns in Israel and Jordan.

The eye-catching works, including vast portraits and espionage eyes, are constructed underneath a ensign of a general POW! WOW! event, a week-long enlightenment festival that aims to “contribute, share enlightenment and bedeck communities with art.”.

Having constructed pieces during a Dead Sea and Petra in Jordan, a tiny organisation of artists, from Hawaii, Tel Aviv and Los Angeles, trafficked to a southern Israeli city of Arad, a city in a Negev dried not mostly overwhelmed by travel art.
