Linkin Park thespian Chester Bennington passed in apparent suicide: coroner

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Chester Bennington, a lead thespian of Linkin Park, was found passed on Thursday of apparent self-murder a week before a California alt-rock rope was due to embark on a U.S. tour.

Bennington, 41, famous for his powerful, belting vocals, died during his Palos Verdes home nearby Los Angeles, a Los Angeles County Coroner’s bureau said.

Spokesman Brian Elias pronounced a genocide was being rubbed as an apparent suicide, and luminary website TMZ, citing law coercion sources, pronounced Bennington had hung himself while alone during a residence when his family was out of town.

“Shocked and heartbroken, though it’s true. An central matter will come out as shortly as we have one,” tweeted Linkin Park vocalist Mike Shinoda.

Bennington had a story of ethanol and drug abuse. He spoke plainly in a past about his struggles to overcome his demons when Linkin Park initial found celebrity in 2000 with their best-selling entrance manuscript “Hybrid Theory” and went on to turn one of a many renouned alt-rock bands of their generation.

The band’s latest album, “One More Light,” was expelled in May, and Linkin Park had been furloughed South America and Europe until dual weeks ago.

Bennington’s genocide came a week before a rope was due to flog off a U.S. leg of a debate on Jul 27 in Mansfield, Massachusetts. It also came a same day as a recover of Linkin Park’s strain video “Talking to Myself.”

“This BREAKS OUR HEART. Suicide is a demon on earth walking among us,” tweeted U.S. rope One Republic.

Punk stone thespian Tyson Ritter, frontman of All-American Rejects, pronounced on Twitter that Bennington was “another means voice silenced to a suggestion in a sky-forever alive in song.”

Bennington, who was twice married and had 6 children, was a tighten crony of Soundgarden front male Chris Cornell, who committed self-murder in Detroit in May.

Fans remarkable on Thursday that Bennington had apparently taken his possess life on what would have been Cornell’s 53rd birthday.

“Just when we suspicion my heart couldn’t mangle any more,” Cornell’s mother Vicky tweeted on Thursday on conference of Bennignton’s death.

Linkin Park’s entrance manuscript “Hybrid Theory” enclosed hits such as “In a End,” “One Step Closer” and “Crawling,” that won a Grammy endowment in 2002 for best tough stone performance.

The rope experimented with rock, steel and rap, many particularly collaborating with Jay-Z in 2004 on a “Collision Course” album. The album, a mash-up of a rapper’s hits with Linkin Park songs, enclosed “Numb/Encore,” that won a Grammy endowment in 2006 for best rap/sung collaboration.

The rope has sole some-more than 70 million albums worldwide.
